Answers to Questions on
Parts and Labor Plus Mechanical Breakdown Coverage

How can you help protect against costly repairs?
Allstate Parts and Labor Plus is mechanical breakdown insurance, providing valuable protection for many of the major mechanical components and systems of your vehicle in the event of a covered breakdown. With  Parts and Labor Plus, you pay your chosen deductible per visit for any covered repairs. When you sign up for the plan, you have the choice of selecting a $50, $100, $150, or $200 deductible.

How does the plan work?
As you may already have discovered, most mechanical breakdowns seem to occur after your vehicle reaches three years of age – and after the typical manufacturer's warranty has expired. Allstate Parts and Labor Plus helps protect you against unexpected repair bills long after your manufacturer's warranty has run out. Best of all, because you pay just the deductible you’ve selected per visit – no matter how expensive the job – you know exactly what you’ll pay for covered repairs. That means you could save hundreds, even thousands, of dollars on repairs in the future!

The coverage is added to the years and miles you already have on your new or pre-owned car. For example, if your vehicle has 15,000 miles, and you choose our 5 Year/60,000 mile coverage, you'll be covered for up to an additional 5 years or up to 75,000 miles on your vehicle's odometer, whichever comes first. All plans have a maximum limit of 100,000 miles or 7 years from the vehicle's model year or policy issue date, whichever occurs first.

Does the plan allow for payment options?
